Deposit and Payment
The deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The deposit secures the time and services of the Photographer for the sitting and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. Photoshoots that are postponed to a later date will retain the deposit as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time. Following payment of the deposit, balance of any fees due is to be paid on, or before the date of the photoshoot. No photographs will be delivered until all payments due have been paid in full. Payment for additional images and albums is to be made when they are ordered. The Client shall pay the invoice within 30 days of receiving the invoice.
The Client is obtaining digital images and prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said prints or authorise any reproductions thereof by parties other than the Photographer. If Client is obtaining a print for reproduction or publication, Photographer authorises the Client to reproduce the photo only as agreed upon by the Client and Photographer. In such event, the Client shall request that a credit for the Photographer be placed adjacent to the photograph on publication, but shall have no liability if the publication refuses or omits to do so.
By taking part in a mini adventure photoshoot you agree to give permission for images to be used in social media marketing. If you do not wish your images to be used please let the Photographer know.
Client representative to attend assignment
Bad or Adverse weather can be agreed with the photographer at the agreement of the commission in advance of the shoot. However, the photographer retains complete discretion concerning whether or not a shoot will proceed.
The client is responsible for attending or sending an authorised representative to the photographic assignment. The client responsible for overseeing the images / products being shot and to direct the photographer on their brands vision. They must ensure their products are styled and support the photographer with visibility of products. If this does not happen the client is obliged to accept the photographers judgement as to the acceptability of images, style, content and composition.
Releases and clearance
The client is responsible for obtaining all required clearances and will indemnify the photographer against all expenses, damages, claims and legal actions arising out of failure to obtain such clearances.
